Some People Think It Is Better for Children to Have Many Short Holidays During the Year

Some people think it is better for children to have many short holidays during the year. Others believe it would be beneficial to have fewer, longer vacations. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Vacations are the most important part of everyone’s life. Some people believe that it is better to have many holidays of fewer days rather than longer durations in schools. However, the rest of them believe the latter is efficient. Both the views and my personal opinions are discussed in the below paragraphs, followed by the conclusion.

Holidays are essential not only to the students but also to the academic staff. The children get quality time to spend with their family and friends regularly. Some people think that having many vacations of short durations will make them have a good bonding with their family. It also makes the teachers free of stress and rejuvenates themselves, which eventually leads to a good work-life balance.

However, the rest of the people believe that having frequent holidays distracts children from studies. They think that it is easier for both the kids and the family to plan for many trips when the duration of the holiday is longer. Apart from going on trips, children can enrol in a course for extracurricular activities, which helps them to be more knowledgeable.

From my point of view, I think it is better for kids and teachers need to have occasional breaks from their regular classes. It gives them time to have a good break and spend quality time with their peers.

In a nutshell, it is the individual’s perspective of having vacations, either shorter or longer durations. The formal applies to people who want their kids to be stressed free, while the rest believe that it is better for people who prefer going on trips for many days. I conclude that to concentrate better on studies, it is important for people in school to have constant breaks.
