Work Is Being Done on the Street Where You Live

Work is being done on the street where you live

Work is being done on the street where you live. The noise is disturbing you. Write a letter to complain to your local Council. In your letter.

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter in regards to the inconvenience caused due to work being done on the street next to my residence. I have been residing on Kingston Street, Toronto, for the past 20 years. The Council here works effectively, but this time, I am highly unsatisfied by the code of conduct.

As you know, the outbreak of Coronavirus has made all the offices operational from home, and it’s been a heavy task to work from the place of home where the environment is already not formal. The problem here is that the renovation of the new road has taken a huge amount of time for the construction work to get completed. There are loud noises of machinery from the site of work, and it mainly occurs during office hours. For instance, during virtual meetings, it causes distraction and unclarity to information being shared. Even after shutting all windows and doors, noise still travels inside the den.

I would request you to please encourage the workers to complete the work as soon as possible, as the weekend is approaching and a large amount of work could be intact. An early solution to the problem would be highly appreciated!

Yours Faithfully,
