Sample Answer of Talk About an Interesting Tradition in Your Country

India is a diverse country, popular for its customs, traditions, and culture worldwide. I also think that traditions are considered as a heritage of one’s nation. So, here I would like to talk about one of the famous traditions in my nation that is touching the feet of elders. This tradition is passed from one generation to another as it is considered to give respect to others. Most youngsters do it to respect elders. Whenever any younger person goes to parties or any ceremonies, they touch the feet of elders. It shows attentiveness to elders. They give blessings in return to youngers for a healthy life ahead.

Moreover, students also touch the feet of their teachers as giving them respect and value. Then, the teacher’s blessings in return for their better education. Parents teach this tradition to their wards as it is considered in general activates. I felt very contented with this tradition as it is heritage for my nation, and I want it to continue from generation to generation. Unfortunately, I am feeling sad about saying this because nowadays many parents do not teach their children to touch the feet of elders as they think that it is an old tradition and do not value this custom.
