Some People Believe That They Should Be Able to Keep All the Money

Some people believe that they should be able to keep all the money they earn, and should not have to pay tax to the state.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

INTRODUCTION

The charge levied by the government on its citizens is called a tax. Even in the digitalized world, people are not being exempted from paying taxes. A majority of society does carry a strong notion that the population should withhold their whole earnings and stop paying taxes. In contrast, I do concur that the governing bodies should implement laws to obtain taxes from their respective residents in a legalized way.

PARAGRAPH 1

Although I do agree that every individual is the owner of their income and have the right to spend it for their well being, I am convinced to say that allocating a part of their salary towards government is justifiable. For instance, responsibility can be established if we pay tax. For example, paying road tax for better improvement of pathways is an age-old process. Consequently, people do have every right to question the government in case of mismanagement or badly managed national highways.

PARAGRAPH 2

Secondly, by the aggregating funds received through taxes, the hierarchy bodies can potentially rule and establish a harmonized society. To quote an example, various municipal parks, beaches, few public entertainment gardens are operated unconstrained manner because the amounts collected from the locals are being directed towards the development of these public places.

CONCLUSION

In the final analysis, I do reiterate that contributing to the government in the form of taxes is significantly legitimate. However, many people do portray false reports and prevent themselves from paying taxes. In such cases, the government should implement stringent rules to curb such incidents.
