Some Employers Offer Their Employees Subsidized Membership of Gym or Sports Clubs

Some employers offer their employees subsidized membership of gym or sports clubs, believing that this will make their staff healthier and thus more effective at work. Other employers see no benefit in so doing. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There is no denying the fact that the phenomenon of healthy life is ubiquitous across the globe owing to its paramount importance. One school opines that the membership for a gym or sports club at a discount rate is worthless; however, others consider a couple of major benefits. Although there are many benefits, numerous demerits are also there, elaborated on in the upcoming paragraphs.

Initiating with the best possible benefits, the most advantage of having membership gym and sports club is for their healthy lifestyle and to keep their employees as fit as a fiddle. To exemplify, the prominent pros of having daily workouts for office workers is to relieve stress and maintain the mind constantly up-to-date. There are plenty of researches that show that if we have good health, we can work more.

On the paradoxical side, some of the masses believe that wasting more in the gym or playing sports can delay their work as well as the financial loss for their companies. For instance, if the team has 4 members and among those, if 3 of them go for a gym or for sports, then if there are any emergency issues, it will affect the remaining members in the team.

In compendium, without any qualms, according to my perspective, going for workouts or playing during their leisure time is helpful for their lifestyle. Although there could be certain issues of wastage of time yet, there are plenty of benefits.
