It Is a Natural Process for Animal Species to Become Extinct

It is a natural process for animal species to become extinct (e.g. dinosaurs, dodos, etc.). There is no reason why people should try to prevent this from happening. Do you agree or disagree?

Animal species become extinct, and the causes can differ. If it is natural, humans cannot prevent it, but there are times that the reasons are mere human, where I strongly agree that it can be averted.

Multiple theories are derived from research, and explanations are drawn for the extinction of species like Dinosaurs or dodos. After examining the fossils extracted from the ground of the extinct species, the explanations are convincing, which can be related to the region’s geography. According to one theory, when meteors bombarded on the earth’s surface from space, the biological conditions were not sustaining for those species, and naturally, they perished. Here the humans can’t do anything.

In India, the state of West Bengal on the east had famous Bengal Tigers in decent proportion just four decades back. But today, the count has been reduced to two digits. What explanation do we have for this dramatic change, its nothing but human crouching? For a relatively amount of money, the tigers are hunted by predators some for medical usage and others for skin and other body parts. Even the young cubs are caught and sold to wealthy people so that they can be paraded and domesticated in their palaces. The survival of this beautiful creature was at stake.

The good news is that a few years back, a TV channel started a campaign to save the Animal. Known celebrities were made brand ambassadors, and nationwide awareness was spread. With this effort, the numbers have started to rise again. Thus, these species were prevented from extinction.
