Sample Answer of Describe an Incident Where Someone Apologized to You

Well, I think that each and every person in this world makes mistakes and sometimes even tries to apologize for his mistake. So, here I would like to talk about a time when someone apologized to me.

When my sister was 12 years old, I got called by her friend circle that she had beat someone and cracked his arm. I got into a really big fight with her at that time and scolded her in front of her friends. Now that I think of it. I think it was because of her Teenage experience. I vividly remember that day because I was having a really bad time at school. So, I didn’t actually talk to my sister that much; I just took her home and went straight to bed. This went on for about 3-4 days before I sat down with her and shared my frustrations with her but to date. I’m not sure if I’d used the wrong words, or my sister was just being arrogant at that time because she outrightly accused me of scolding her in front of her friends. And that was it for me; I lost my patience and yelled at her. She ran away to her grandma’s place for about a week. If there was a point in my life when I was fed up with being an elder sister like a parent, That was it! I just didn’t understand why did she lash out at me in that way.

A week later, my sister came home crying again, and her eyes were red; tear stains were still visible on her dress. She came straight towards me and hugged me tightly. Honestly, I was surprised, she then Continuously explained how sorry she was, and she would never do the same thing again. Apparently, her grandma had talked some sense into her. I didn’t ask what exactly she told her. I was just happy that she was at home again, and she had realized her mistake and apologized for that. Now, I think that that was the moment when we became best friends.
